| We Buy Political Collectibles & Memorabilia and Collectible Americana |
As a serious collector of Political Memorabilia and other Collectible Americana. I buy buttons, banners, medals, ribbons, watch fobs,
posters, prints, paintings, pocket mirrors, flags, textiles, ceramics, songbooks and many other items too numerous to list here.
From Abraham Lincoln to Harry Truman to Richard Nixon to Howard Hughes, Winnie the Pooh or whatever is coming. My expertise is in
presidential campaign items. I try not to deal in General Political items, unless the historical value is just to fantastic to
ignore. I prefer NOT to Appraise, Buy, or Sell items which ARE NOT political or collectible Americana in nature, especially
Magazines or other periodicals.
Categories of particular interest: Presidential Campaigns, Prohibition, Labor, Civil Rights, Teddy Roosevelt, James Cox, Harry Truman,
William Jennings Bryan, JFK/RFK and Women's Suffrage, I also have interest in Historical Paintings, posters, placards, banners, signs and other
Collectible Americana.
I have built a reputation nationwide for honesty, integrity and fair dealing. I have purchased and been
involved with numerous important collections and am considered by many collectors and dealers as a trusted
name in political memorabilia. In partnership with my brother, we own the most expense button ever purchased
in the hobby. Whether you own one or a thousand items, consider Gary Cohen's Politicalbuttons.Com when you decide to sell.
I will provide a free appraisal and a fair offer. I will travel anywhere in the country, and the world for that matter,
for the right items. Call me, e-mail me, fax me, write to me or use the form on this page. Be assured,
PAYMENT, no matter what the amount, is always fast and guaranteed !

| Advice for sellers |
WE NEED TO SEE IT !
A picture is worth a thousand words. When possible send a photo, photocopy, or a digital
image file, (in .jpg format only and keep the resolution to less than 640x480 PLEASE !).
Buttons tend to be more realistic when captured with a digital camera or a regular camera.
Scanning is okay, but the results can be untrue to the original coloring.
Scanners are excellent for tokens and medals, as well as small banners. posters, photos and campaign literature.
35mm Slides are always the BEST, but can be expensive. If you want to send a slide, that is okay with us
since we have a digital slide scanner on site. Polaroid and 35mm photographs are always excellent.
You can also send your item to me via mail, UPS or FEDEX, insured of course, for my inspection. I will refund the
postage if I buy the Item.
DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING !
Assuming the value of an item can be disastrous and you could be setting yourself up for disappointment.
The political memorabilia field is highly specialized, probably more so than any other antique or collectible
market. Experts know a lot of arcane information. A novice might not realize that some of the rarest campaign
items are for Harry Truman, or that an autographed picture of Ronald Reagan sells for less than $100. Setting
your expectations too low or too high can lead to an unhappy experience. Keep an open mind !
KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH !
As a longtime member of the A.P.I.C., (American Political Items Collectors), and respected
collector by members of this organization, I am personally acquainted with virtually everyone
in the hobby. If you need a second opinion, I can provide you with the contact information of
several other respected dealers and collectors who can assure you my offer is fair and just.
